As a Chaperone you will be expected to supervise, guide and encourage younger members in their participation of the ongoing rehearsals and performances of the theatre company's shows. You will be expected to safeguard younger members and report any incidences to the Designated Officer. Ultimately, it is your role to ensure everyone (including yourself) has a good time!
Essential criteria
-A clear Access NI check
-Two references from non-familial adults
-A desire to work in the best interest of the members of the theatre company
Desirable criteria:
-Enthusiasm

-Good time keeping skills
-Ability to work as a team member
-Honesty
-Confidentiality
-Positive attitude
-Previous experience with children/young people
All Chaperones will be given an induction by the Designated Officer and will have a strong support unit throughout the rehearsal process.
Child Protection Training will be offered to all Chaperones, free of charge and this opportunity is an excellent chance to widen your work experience and list on your future CV!
