2013 The Big quiz
On Thursday 20th June 2013, Ravara Productions presented their biggest community/charity quiz night to date. With a full house, jam packing The Auld House, Moneyreagh with well over 120 people, the evening was a huge success! This being our third year doing a joint charity project, we were delighted to support local children’s cancer charity ‘Clic Sargent’.
The evening was run by quiz master Adam Darcy and a fantastic group from our organisation who ran the projections and running of the tables. As always our quiz had some unusual twists which always prove very popular with our supporters! Who knows what’s in the planning for next year's?! Rounds included; General Knowledge, Musicals, Northern Ireland, Disney and Touch, to name a few. We were also lucky enough to have some live entertainment from Matthew Campbell, who sang a range of popular classics and contemporary songs, getting everyone moving and singing along! Due to kind donations from many local businesses and artists, we were able to run a Deal or No Deal raffle, which raised hundreds of pounds for the two great causes, Ravara Productions and Clic Sargent. Our quiz evenings are always a great social evening, full of family fun and entertainment which is why we produce them year on year. It is also a pleasure to support charities both local and further afield by splitting all the money raised on the evening. We would like to take this opportunity to thank again; The Auld House, Moneyreagh, all those who donated to our raffle and of course all our generous supporters who never let us down! Until next year, over and out! |
